Recreation Facility Needs Assessment

Mr. Gross and his South African firm ADEC conducted a recreation needs assessment at the Northcliff Club, on behalf of the City of Johannesburg (Johannesburg Property Company-JPC). This assessment focused on the need for existing club facilities, including a lawn bowling club, tennis courts, squash courts, clubhouse, and other facilities; and examined the potential for other recreation activities. The City owned the property but was examining the opportunities for commercial development at the site to replace existing recreation uses if the need for recreation facilities was weak.
