Multi-Purpose Event Center Fiscal Impacts (F&M Bank Arena)

RGDE completed work on an impact assessment of the proposed Montgomery County Multi-Purpose Event Center (MPEC), which would house the basketball arena for Austin Peay State University, ice practice arena for the Nashville Predators, and other sports and entertainment event programming. The specific question examined the impacts on development and property tax revenue generated as a result of spin-off leveraged by development of the arena. Mr. Gross completed this work for Montgomery County Government, Office of the Mayor. The project was approved by voters and is now moving forward towards implementation, with a ground-breaking event held in November 2020.
